Lando celebrated the title on his in-lap, after classifying in third place for his 14th podium of the season, and revelled in the achievement.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnother title is just a great thing – another Constructors\u2019 Championship,\u201d Lando said in the post-race press conference. \u201cIt feels the same as in 2024. To get the title last year was quite an achievement, if you look at where we were three years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve outdone every team in terms of development, and in a time where it\u2019s almost harder to do than ever with more restrictions – the budget cap, less wind tunnel time – it should be more difficult to dominate, but that\u2019s what the team has done and they\u2019ve given us by a long way the best car on the grid \u2013 it\u2019s a nice thing to say, and always puts a smile on your face. We\u2019ve done well, Oscar and I have been pushing each other, you don\u2019t see that at any other team.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lando joined the McLaren family in 2017, before stepping up to a race seat in 2019, and has spent his entire career with the team.<\/p>\n

It was a very different time and place from where we are now, so that journey makes it more special,\u201d he reflected. \u201cTo know the downs, to see the rise we\u2019ve had, the teamwork, and the changes.
