Paraag Marathe finds himself between a rock and a hard place with Leeds United and Rangers.<\/strong><\/p>\n Leeds United sit 15th in the Premier League table<\/a>, having won just one of their last five games before the international break.<\/p>\n On the other side of the 49ers<\/a> ownership, Rangers have just sacked Russell Martin after a dismal start to the campaign.<\/p>\n As a result, Marathe<\/a> has been forced to release a statement on behalf of the latter, and it showcases exactly where he has been going wrong.<\/p>\n The 49ers faced serious scrutiny in the summer at Elland Road<\/a> as a result of their inability to bolster the forward line, with many feeling as though they left Leeds short in that department.<\/p>\n On the flip side, Rangers were sealing late deals right up to the final second of the window, while the Whites went a week without a signing since the arrival of James Justin.<\/p>\n That was the first sign of Marathe and the 49ers having their priority in Glasgow, and after the Light Blues moved to sack Martin, their statement on his dismissal suggests a similar will happen again.<\/p>\n Via the Rangers<\/a> site, Marathe\u2019s statement alongside Andrew Cavenagh reads: \u201cThe evaluation will have our full attention until we are confident we have a leader with the character and skillset to deliver results.\u201c<\/p>\n It certainly raises the question as to where they see Leeds United in the future.<\/p>\n Leeds United deserve their own attention<\/p>\n Deserve or need? That can be argued.
