King Charles<\/a><\/strong>is at his wits\u2019 end on one request his wife keeps making.<\/p>\n Buckingham Palace is undergoing renovations, and Queen Camilla<\/a><\/strong>is advocating for the creation of a formal library in addition to the extensive overhaul underway. All of that pestering is apparently getting to the King, with one source saying she is \u201cirritating him beyond belief.\u201d<\/p>\n Camilla is a longtime advocate for literacy, and is holding her ground on this matter. By all accounts, the Queen may be overstepping her boundaries in this particular situation.<\/p>\n King Charles is supposedly tired of Queen Camilla\u2019s Buckingham Palace request Having his authority challenged on this matter is not something the King has taken kindly to. In his eyes, the library renovations are a balance between tradition and practicality. An insider told RadarOnline.com<\/a>, though, that for his wife, \u201cit\u2019s about creating a cultural legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n The refurbishment project could cost taxpayers approximately $500 million. This includes modernized heating, plumbing, and electrical systems. Camilla, however, wants this extra addition. \u201cThe Queen feels the monarchy has a duty to promote learning,\u201d according to a courtier. She believes having a permanent library is one of the most worthwhile features that the Palace\u2019s renovation project would have.<\/p>\n Charles\u2019 concerns on that front stems from the financial burden that may impose, while this may cause further unnecessary disruptions. While the King appreciates his wife\u2019s advocacy for literacy, he seems to feel he\u2019s being challenged unnecesarily on this.<\/p>\n It\u2019s abundantly clear to Camilla that this is a massive priority in her eyes, and that\u2019s adding to the stress the King is going through about this project.
