The chairman of the Australian <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hulldailymail.co.uk\/all-about\/rugby-league\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Rugby League<\/a> Commission will join the Kangaroos squad this month in England alongside NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo, with the duo set to continue their exploration surrounding buying a stake in the English game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"hulldailymail\">Both V&#8217;Landys and Abdo intend to use the trip, which see an Ashes series take place for the first time in 22 years, to strengthen ties &#8216;with the powerful clubs in Super League.&#8217; There has been speculation that the NRL are considering purchasing a stake in the competition for several months, with talk arising in Las Vegas earlier this year. V&#8217;Landy&#8217;s confirmed to Triple M Radio in Australia over the weekend that is still the case.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"hulldailymail\">As previously reported, Wests Tigers chief executive Shane Richardson and South Sydney\u2019s Blake Solly have been the key driving forces and advocates for the NRL to buy a 51 per cent stake in Super League. Richardson is a former CEO of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hulldailymail.co.uk\/all-about\/hull-fc\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Hull FC<\/a>, while Solly previously worked in the English game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"hulldailymail\">\u201cWe\u2019re looking at it,\u201d V\u2019landys said. \u201cWe want to make sure rugby league survives in England and that it is vibrant and healthy. There\u2019s certainly some (green) shoots there that can be expanded.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"hulldailymail\">\u201cWe will go over there for the Australia-England games and we will be speaking to some of the Super League clubs to see how we can help.
