Gold Coast DJ FISHER <\/strong>has joined the celebrations for this year\u2019s Melbourne Cup Carnival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Joining a stacked list of performers, including the just announced PNAU<\/a> \u2013 performing on Melbourne Cup Day \u2013 and Craig David<\/strong> \u2013 playing on Crown Oaks Day, FISHER will appear as part of the concluding event, TAB Champions Stakes Day on Saturday, 8 November.<\/p>\n

Performing at the Off the Rails party following the last race on TAB Champions Stakes Day, FISHER\u2019s performance marks his Melbourne Cup Carnival debut.<\/p>\n

\u201cMelbourne, I\u2019m so excited to come to party with you all at the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Giddy up,\u201d FISHER said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Victoria Racing Club<\/strong> will soon reveal more entertainment for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.<\/p>\n

VRC Chief Executive Officer Kylie Rogers<\/strong> commented on FISHER\u2019s booking, \u201cSecuring an internationally recognised artist of FISHER\u2019s calibre is truly exciting. FISHER is one of the world\u2019s most electrifying and in-demand artists and the perfect entertainer to headline the Off the Rails party to celebrate the final day of the 2025 Melbourne Cup Carnival.\u201d<\/p>\n

Minister for Racing Anthony Carbines<\/strong> added, \u201cNobody does trackside entertainment like we do in Victoria. This year, we’re supporting VRC to bring world-class acts to Flemington, like FISHER, to make sure the 2025 Spring Carnival is bigger and better than ever.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you back the racing industry, you back more than 35,000 Victorian jobs and $4.7 billion for the economy \u2013 it\u2019s a sure bet.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Melbourne Cup Carnival begins with the Howden Victoria Derby Day on Saturday, 1 November. It continues with the Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, 4 November, Crown Oaks Day on Thursday, 6 November, and concludes with the TAB Champions Stakes Day on Saturday, 8 November.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, FISHER was nominated for the Best International DJ award for this year\u2019s DJ Awards<\/a> alongside Calvin Harris<\/strong> and David Guetta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This year also saw FISHER headline the massive second edition of OUT 2 LUNCH<\/strong> festival on the Gold Coast.<\/p>\n

The festival sold over 30,000 tickets and injected $54 million into the Gold Coast economy<\/a>. It went on to create 1500 jobs, engage over 200 local businesses, and raise $30,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation<\/strong>.
