Jaka Bijol could soon be looking for the exit door at Leeds United as Daniel Farke sets aim on Premier League survival.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Slovenia international signed for the Whites in the summer for around \u00a318.7million as Adam Underwood looked to build a squad capable of avoiding relegation.<\/p>\n

Bijol has been a bit-part player at Elland Road<\/a>, and it wouldn\u2019t be surprising to see the centre-back knocking on the German manager\u2019s door sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n

Joe Rodon has been a key player for Farke this season<\/a>, and his partnership with Pascal Struijk has dominated the Peacocks\u2019 starting lineup in the current campaign, leaving little room for rotation.<\/p>\n

Bijol<\/a> isn\u2019t pleased with his lack of game time at Leeds after completing a big-money move to LS11 in the previous transfer window.<\/p>\n

The Slovenia international understands that what he\u2019s going through at Elland Road<\/a> is just part and parcel of being a footballer, but nevertheless, he wants things to change.<\/p>\n

With the defender desperate for his opportunity at the West Yorkshire outfit, it remains to be seen whether Farke listens to him.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Ekipa<\/a> on 6 October, Bijol said: \u201cI am certainly not happy with the current situation. There are always ups and downs. There are always slightly worse situations. You have to get over them as a footballer. I am sure that my opportunity will come at Leeds. I hope as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Struijk was attracting interest at Elland Road in the summer<\/a>, but the Dutchman ended up staying and has continued to play a key role for the German manager this season.<\/p>\n

It wouldn\u2019t be surprising to see the former Udinese defender angling for a move away from the Peacocks in January if opportunities continue to remain scarce.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke to prioritise Premier League survival at Elland Road<\/p>\n

Farke\u2019s team are predicted to survive relegation despite losing to Tottenham<\/a> on 4 October, and that\u2019s what the priority should be in LS11.<\/p>\n
