Keith Urban raised eyebrows when he recently changed the lyrics of a Nicole Kidman-inspired song to nod to up-and-coming country star Maggie Baugh, with whom he was on tour this summer, amid the Oscar winner\u2019s divorce filing.<\/p>\n
While performing 2016\u2019s \u201cThe Fighter\u201d alongside each other, the 57-year-old Grammy winner sang, \u201cWhen they\u2019re tryna get to you, Maggie, I\u2019ll be your guitar player<\/a>,\u201d according to a concert clip Baugh shared on Instagram.<\/p>\n \u201cDid he just say that?\u201d reads the 25-year-old utility player\u2019s edited caption.<\/p>\n Originally, the lyric goes, \u201cWhen they\u2019re tryna get to you, baby, I\u2019ll be the fighter<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201c[Kidman\u2019s] female and tender, and I want that tenderness to not have to get hardened<\/a> to the world,\u201d Urban told Billboard of the song in 2017. \u201cThat\u2019s my job as her husband, to put myself around her so she can remain that way. And that\u2019s really the chorus of \u2018The Fighter.’\u201d<\/p>\n While it\u2019s unclear whether Urban and Baugh\u2019s dynamic is anything more than professional or friendly, news broke Tuesday that Kidman, 58, had filed for divorce from Urban after 19 years of marriage<\/a>. She cited \u201cirreconcilable differences.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAll signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman,\u201d sources connected to Kidman told TMZ ahead of the divorce news, which was less shocking than word of their separation the day prior.<\/p>\n A source told People that Urban\u2019s friends considered the separation \u201ckind of inevitable\u201d and that it \u201creally hasn\u2019t been a secret.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cBig Little Lies\u201d actress, who tied the knot with Urban in June 2006, was seen wearing her wedding band on Sept. 25, though they\u2019ve reportedly been living apart \u201csince the beginning of the summer.\u201d<\/p>\n Kidman and Urban will continue to co-parent, though she is looking to remain the \u201cprimary residential parent\u201d for daughters Sunday, 17, and Margaret, 16.<\/p>\n While Kidman reportedly filed out of the blue Tuesday, a \u201cMarital Dissolution Agreement\u201d had already been signed by Urban\u2019s notary last month, and hers on Sept. 6, per TMZ.<\/p>\n
