The summer transfer window left Leeds United fans frustrated. Unable to get another attacking player on board despite moves to sign Facundo Buonanotte and Harry Wilson.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It showed a willingness on Leeds\u2019<\/a> part to exceed their current PSR position. Robbie Evans has said since the closure of the window that they were willing to go beyond the limit, and make it up before June 30.<\/p>\n

Buying Wilson permanently will have done that. It is unclear if Leeds have the funds to be able to do a loan move between now and June 30, without losing anyone. It opens up the question of January.<\/p>\n

Leeds showed they were ready to sign a new attacker and go beyond the limit in the summer, but will they be as ready to do so in January, when there is only a few months before the PSR deadline in June?<\/p>\n

Leeds have been linked with Inter\u2019s Piotr Zielinski, and Roma\u2019s Lorenzo Pellegrini<\/a>. The latter is in the final year of his contract at Roma, and Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini has advised Pellegrini to leave Roma<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Zielinski, meanwhile, is struggling for game time at Inter. He has only started one game this season, in the Champions League against Slavia Prague. The 101-time Poland international could be tempted to go.<\/p>\n

According to Europa Calcio<\/a>, Inter would prefer a permanent sale while Leeds would rather a loan deal or for his contract to be terminated in order to sign him on a free. Inter want just \u00a38.7m for the Polish ace.<\/p>\n

The report claims that Zielinski is top of the radar for Farke<\/a> going into the January transfer window. He has a contract at Inter until the summer of 2028, having only joined from Napoli just over a year ago.<\/p>\n

What Piotr Zielinski thinks about his future at Leeds<\/p>\n

This is a player with mountains of experience. A player that has done it at the top level for years, and has a Serie A title under his belt. The former Empoli and Udinese ace would be a superb addition at Leeds.<\/p>\n

Especially, given his versatility. A player that can play on either flank, as a no.10 or even up front along with a bigger striker. But Zielinski\u2019s stance on his future seems to be that he is willing to remain at Inter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, failing to start more games than the solitary start he has been afforded between now and the January window may tempt Zielinski to push for a move.
