Katy Perry’s The Lifetimes Tour has landed in the people’s city, as she kicks off the UK leg of her tour.<\/p>\n

Katy Perry has been pictured ahead of her gig tonight on Tuesday, October 7, as she prepares to take to the stage at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro as part of The Lifetimes Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer was snapped looking chilled in her ‘sporty spice’ era as she was snapped coming out of the Blythswood Hotel<\/a> in the city centre ahead of taking to the stage later tonight. It is believed she is staying at the luxury residence.<\/p>\n

Katy<\/a> was sporting a casual cropped blue hoodie which was pulled up over her head, and a white cap. She paired the look with a pair of black sunglasses and a slouched larger grey jumper, as she was accompanied out of the hotel.<\/p>\n

Glasgow will welcome the Hot N Cold award-winning star for the opening night of her tour, which will move on to Manchester, Sheffield, and Birmingham, before culminating with a date at London\u2019s O2 Arena<\/a> later this month on October 13.<\/p>\n

The UK leg of the tour comes after additional shows were added in Australia due to overwhelming demand<\/a>, with the original June 2025 dates selling out.<\/p>\n

Recently, three more shows were announced for Mexico in April 2025, after the first three sold out within an hour.<\/p>\n

Last month, Katy made a triumphant return to the MTV stage for the first time since 2017. The five-time VMA winner received the 2024 Video Vanguard Award and delivered a show-stopping medley of her greatest hits.<\/p>\n

On returning to the UK for her first tour in over seven years Katy said: \u201cI\u2019m so incredibly chuffed to bring The Lifetimes Tour to the UK! I can\u2019t wait to have a big sing along of all the songs you love and more! It\u2019s going to be a giant dance party, and everyone\u2019s invited!\u201d<\/p>\n

Katy announced that \u00a31 from every ticket sold will be donated to Music Venue Trust, the UK charity dedicated to protecting, securing, and improving grassroots music venues across the country.<\/p>\n

Every \u00a31 received from this scheme will go directly into initiatives to support the UK grassroots music community, bringing more great new music to more towns and cities.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m proud to donate \u00a31 from every ticket on the UK leg of The Lifetimes Tour to Music Venue Trust so that venues like Water Rats and Scala, where I played my first UK shows, can continue to usher in the next generation of music talent\u201d says Katy.<\/p>\n
