A man has died at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emergency services<\/a> were called to the popular landmark in the capital after the alarm was raised at around 2.35pm on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Police<\/a> and ambulance crews were quickly scrambled to the area.<\/p>\n

An air ambulance was also called to assist, but sadly the man was pronounced dead<\/a> at the scene.<\/p>\n

The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 2.35pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, we received a report of a man taken unwell in the area of Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

\u201cEmergency services attended, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: \u201cWe received a call at 2.31pm to attend an incident in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe dispatched an ambulance, a paramedic response unit (PRU), a critical care paramedic (CCP), a special operations response team (SORT), and an air ambulance to the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arthur\u2019s Seat<\/a> is a landmark that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.<\/p>\n
