MR:2:05.1, 800m in 57.6, 400m in 27.2. That form looks very good now and heads to Northern Southland (at Invercargill) for his debut this Thursday in Race 3 where he has drawn the pole and has the services of Nathan Williamson. Expecting him to be short on the tote with only 6 rivals but ‘where there is smoke, there is fire’.

To place a bet in this race click here

Beluga (3g Bettor’s Delight – Arden Caviar) Tr. MR:2:01.1, 800m in 60.4, 400m in 30.4. Well related gelding rating a half to four other winners including smart mare Ruby Roe (8 wins to date) and sure to be improved fitness-wise as he heads to Northern Southland this Thursday (Race 9) for his second start in a new campaign. Hasn’t finished further back than fourrth in 5 career starts. In his latest trial, he sat back in a 6 horse heat before launching at the 600m to take control and kept going far too well for his rivals headed by Pinseeker, 4L away MR:2:04.6, 800m in 55.9, 400m in 26.5. Resumes at Addington this Friday night in Race 4 and comes up against a couple of ‘smarties’ so his odds could be rather attractive. Only a 2YO remember, trailed third before working into the 1×1 last 500m, powerful sprint to get over the top of his esteemed rivals last 100m, simply awesome. MR:2:00.8, 800m in 55.3, 400m in 27.1. Back at Addington this Friday in Race 12 for start number six worth $200k. Has copped a wide second line draw but that just gives his rivals more of a chance. Gets his chance this Friday at Auckland in Race 9 for Non-Win 2YOs. Draws the pole and only has five rivals to contend with. Led on that occasion from wide draw and although squarely beaten in the end, had the other 7 rivals well covered. No grass track form to speak of but has placed in 1:55 and not to be taken lightly if she gets back into the field.
