The new lounge replaces the previous, smaller Aspire lounge and has been introduced in response to the significant rise in passenger traffic and lounge guest numbers at the airport.<\/p>\n

The launch presents a carefully considered design that draws inspiration from Liverpool\u2019s rich history, unique character, and cultural identity \u2013 helping to transform a mundane travel experience into a meaningful celebration of the city and its spirit.<\/p>\n

At the heart of the lounge, a striking mural serves as a visual tapestry of Liverpool\u2019s cultural heartbeat. It weaves together the historic Albert Dock, iconic Pier Head, and prominent architectural landmarks \u2013 reflecting Liverpool\u2019s rich maritime heritage, innovation and artistic flare.<\/p>\n

In the Luxe by Aspire lounge, there is a centrepiece digital canvas reimagining Images of a Woman \u2013 the only artwork collectively created by The Beatles in 1966 during their tour in Tokyo \u2013 woven with imagery of instruments, concertgoers, and lyrics from Liverpool\u2019s most celebrated artists. The canvas seeks to capture the city\u2019s unparalleled musical legacy.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery element of the lounge\u2019s interior has been thoughtfully designed to reflect Liverpool\u2019s rich heritage and vibrant present. Guests are welcomed into a sophisticated space that echoes the grandeur of the city\u2019s iconic Three Graces \u2014 the Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building, and the Port of Liverpool Building. This new lounge pays tribute to Liverpool\u2019s remarkable history, and we are proud to open our doors to passengers seeking a relaxing start to their journey.\u201d says James Millett, Director of Lounges UKI & Global Customer Innovation.<\/p>\n

Open daily from 4 AM to 9 PM, the premium lounge service is available to all passengers and can be booked online in advance to guarantee availability. The Lounge has also introduced a new feature; a two-tiered offering with guests able to choose either the classic premium Aspire facilities or upgrade to the Luxe by Aspire offering, for a super-premium experience, featuring an adults-only space with private booths, a communal workspace, premium snacks and drinks.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe original lounge had grown so popular that it became clear a larger, more upscale space was needed to meet increasing demand. We\u2019re thrilled to now see the doors open to this new space, offering passengers an elevated experience at the heart of our terminal.\u2019 says Lucy O\u2019Shaughnessy, Commercial Director at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.<\/p>\n

The lounge is a multi-million-pound investment by Aspire and has created 20 new jobs at the airport. The new 750sqm space has more than doubled the capacity, offering 150 seats in Aspire and 55 in Luxe by Aspire.<\/p>\n

The launch was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by councillor and Liverpool City Council Leader Liam Robinson, in front of guests from the region\u2019s business community, visitor economy, local authorities and airline partners.<\/p>\n
