Talk of Matheus Cunha\u2019s future has taken a turn as the Wolves star\u2019s agent is set to meet with a club. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The summer transfer window will almost certainly see Cunha<\/a> leave Wolves<\/a> amid a host of interest.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aside from interest, Cunha made it clear that he wants to leave<\/a> in search of a new challenge, with his \u00a362.5m release clause<\/a> active in the summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s expected that the Brazilian will join a fellow Premier League<\/a> club if he is to depart, with one of many suitors now hoping to make a move for the player.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Arsenal held interest in Cunha<\/a> during the January window, however, the brief transfer saga was put to bed as the 25-year-old penned a new deal at Wolves.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Gunners are a team to watch in the pursuit of Cunha<\/a> due to their recent hire of Andrea Berta, the sporting director who signed the forward at Atletico Madrid.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Though Mikel Arteta will be eyeing a new attacker in the summer, it\u2019s not Arsenal who are currently the most likely club to acquire the Wolves star. <\/p>\n

That\u2019s the understanding of journalist Ben Jacobs, who reported that Cunha\u2019s agent is set to travel to England to meet with Manchester United and other clubs. <\/p>\n

Jacobs reported that Cunha is on United\u2019s \u2018radar\u2019, with Nuno Espirito Santo<\/a> also eyeing the forward at Nottingham Forest.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Arsenal\u2019s interest is also mentioned, but it\u2019s understood that the Gunners have other names ahead of the Brazil international on their list. <\/p>\n

In a report for talkSPORT<\/a>, Jacobs noted that United are \u2018looking\u2019 for a number ten to bolster Ruben Amorim\u2019s attack, adding that Cunha\u2019s agent has \u2018already\u2019 made contact with the Red Devils.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Could Cunha be on his way to Old Trafford? That appears to be one possible next destination for the star. <\/p>\n

Cunha to Manchester United makes no sense<\/p>\n

Cunha explained that he wants to leave Wolves to fight for titles, making the possibility of joining United at this time rather confusing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

United are the most decorated club in England however, they\u2019re not the side they used to be, sitting 13th in the table and unlikely to secure European football next season. <\/p>\n

That is, unless Amorim\u2019s side can win the Europa League, which would grant them qualification to the Champions League.\u00a0<\/p>\n
