All the passengers are safe and in good health. The passengers are expected to be deported promptly,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he strongly condemned the Israeli action and demanded that Malaysian activists taking part in the flotilla mission be released.<\/p>\n<p>Irish, French and Danish activists, among other nationals, are also reportedly on board the flotilla.<\/p>\n<p>The FFC, an international network of pro-Palestinian activist groups that organises civilian maritime missions, said the boats were carrying \u201cvital aid\u201d worth more than $110,000 in medicines, respiratory equipment, and nutritional supplies destined for Gaza\u2019s starving hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Israeli military has no legal jurisdiction over international waters,\u201d the organisation said on Instagram. \u201cOur flotilla poses no harm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was the second such incident in recent days, after Israel intercepted about 40 vessels, abducted and detained more than 450 activists in another aid convoy, the Global Sumud Flotilla, that was also attempting to deliver supplies to Gaza. Israel has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/10\/6\/greta-thunberg-and-other-activists-deported-from-israel-arrive-in-greece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">since deported most of those activists<\/a>, including Swedish climate campaigner Greta Thunberg.<\/p>\n<p>Several activists from that flotilla have alleged physical and psychological abuse while in Israeli custody. Rima Hassan, a French-Palestinian member of the European Parliament, said she was \u201cbeaten\u201d by Israeli police after the flotilla was intercepted. American activist David Adler described <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/10\/7\/us-activist-from-gaza-flotilla-alleges-psychological-torture-by-israel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">being \u201cstripped\u201d, \u201czip-tied\u201d, and \u201cblindfolded\u201d<\/a> before his detention, as well as being forced to be photographed with Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"DEVELOPING STORYDEVELOPING STORY, The Israeli military has intercepted and boarded several boats sailing towards Gaza.
