{"id":482244,"date":"2025-10-08T06:24:13","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T06:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/482244\/"},"modified":"2025-10-08T06:24:13","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T06:24:13","slug":"team-from-bristol-climbing-nine-mountains-to-support-baby-charity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/482244\/","title":{"rendered":"Team from Bristol climbing nine mountains to support baby charity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;[SANDS] are there to help pick up the pieces and support parents with bereaved children,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">All of those taking part have had experiences similar to Mr Hofayz: &#8220;Earlier on this year my partner and I went through a miscarriage. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;Members of my team have lost children and my best friend&#8217;s child died in his arms in 2015,&#8221; said Matt Roberts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I decided to raise money for a charity who help bereaved parents and try to heal them,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">SANDS also conducted research into how maternity and bereavement services could be improved and how deaths can be prevented.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;A lot of people are out there in the darkness and haven&#8217;t got any answers as to why [they lost a child] and all we can do is hope that we&#8217;re doing good things for the future and helping people that will inevitably go through this&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#8220;[SANDS] are there to help pick up the pieces and support parents with bereaved children,&#8221; he added.
