Premier League side Leeds United are interested in signing Roma attacker\u00a0Lorenzo Pellegrini in the January transfer window, according to reports.<\/p>\n
Daniel Farke\u2019s side have made a good start to the new Premier League season following their promotion from the Championship at the end of last term.<\/p>\n
Leeds<\/strong><\/a> will have been hoping to simply survive this campaign after all three of the promoted sides have gone down in the last two seasons.<\/p>\n The Yorkshire side have picked up four points in their last three matches and were unfortunate to lose to Tottenham 2-1 at Elland Road on Saturday<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Leeds are already turning their attention to making improvements in the January transfer window with new attackers top of their list.<\/p>\n After missing out on the signing of\u00a0Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton late in the transfer window, Leeds are now hoping to get a deal over the line for Roma\u2019s Pellegrini in the winter.<\/p>\n READ:\u00a0Liverpool dominating PL, Wirtz POTY, new Hojlund among ten PL knee-jerk reactions already wrong<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Football Insider claim that Leeds \u2018are targeting a winger and an attacking midfielder\u00a0in the January transfer window with the Italian ticking that box.\u2019<\/p>\n The website\u2019s transfer correspondent Pete O\u2019Rourke insists that\u00a0Pellegrini continues to attract interest from Leeds but that it would be a \u201cdifficult race to win\u201d for the Yorkshire side.<\/p>\n O\u2019Rourke told Football Insider<\/a>: \u201cDue to his contract situation, I think it\u2019ll be more than just Leeds United looking at Lorenzo Pellegrini.<\/p>\n \u201c[He\u2019s a] really impressive attacking midfielder, Italian international.
