Newcastle United duo Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton have finally touched down in South Korea – for the second time in three months.<\/p>\n
Chronicle Live understands that the club has been in constant contact<\/a> with their Brazilian stars after a broken window forced their flight to turn back to Amsterdam. After waiting for a connecting flight, the journey ended up taking 30 hours, leaving the pair jaded with jetlag, certain to affect both players.<\/p>\n Bruno posted on landing: “After more than 30 hours here we go!”<\/p>\n The Newcastle skipper must now get ready to face South Korea<\/a> on Friday. Bruno and Joelinton then have a game in Tokyo against Japan on Tuesday evening. The pair will then use Wednesday as a travel before returning to Tyneside at some point on Thursday in need of a rest.<\/p>\n That could give Eddie Howe just one day to work with his Samba stars ahead of the Brighton game. Bruno had told Chronicle Live on Sunday night: “I’m going to South Korea, it’s crazy. But yeah, we have to go there.<\/p>\n “Playing for my country is always a reason to be proud though for me. But it’s a little bit far away.<\/p>\n “The most important thing now is to get the jet lag right. Go there, train well. It’s important for us as well to be there with our national team and most important is to stay fit.”<\/p>\n Howe has also kept in touch with the duo and told the media on Sunday: “We had a quick chat at the end of the game.<\/p>\n “I mean, what those players do that play for their countries, that have to travel those kind of distances – I know it sounds easy – you’re going to play for your country, you’re going to fly halfway across the world, it’s a privilege, and don\u2019t get me wrong, the players know that. But it is hard and it’s hard on their brains, their bodies.<\/p>\n “But what I love about those two individual players is that when they come back to us after those journeys, they come back with such a passion to play for the club again.<\/p>\n “They’re pleased to be with their teammates, and they’re really focused on what we need to do. They’re not reflecting back on what they’ve just done.
