A couple got married in the mosh pit of a Cannibal Corpse<\/a> show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earlier this month, as the band were playing \u2018Unleashing The Bloodthirsty\u2019.<\/p>\n

About midway through the band\u2019s show, which took place on April 22 at the Stage AE, Erica and Christopher, a couple, exchanged their vows in the middle of the mosh pit. The ceremony seemed to be short and non-disruptive to the show, with other concertgoers appearing to be happy about it.<\/p>\n

Sharing the news on Facebook after the show, Erica wrote: \u201cWell we did it! Last night during the[Cannibal Corpse] show in Pittsburgh we said our \u201cI dos\u201d in the mosh pit!<\/p>\n

\u201cA huge thank you to everyone knowingly and unknowingly helping to make this happen! There is no community more united than the metal community!! The amount of support and love was amazing!\u201d<\/p>\n

She also shared a series of photos from the event, and photos of the marriage certificate. It seems to state the Stage AE as their official wedding location.<\/p>\n

As Loudwire<\/a> reports, the wedding officiant\u2019s speech acknowledged Cannibal Corpse\u2019s song \u201cabout blood, wretched souls and eating the heart,\u201d referring to Erica and Christopher as \u201ctwo dark beautiful hearts\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the pain in this world won\u2019t stop us now \/ For we have each other \/ All the hate in this world can\u2019t tear us apart \/ This love between Erica and Chris is forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their wedding vows also made reference to their love for metal music and culture: \u201cDo you [name] take [partner\u2019s name] to be your partner in metal, horror, trust honor and love? And do [you] promise to stick through the thick and thin, and endure any shitty cinematic remakes that Blumhouse may create as long as you both shall live and mosh?\u201d<\/p>\n

In other heavy metal-related news, fans can now study the genre at a degree level<\/a>. Summa College in Eindhoven has a new faculty called \u2018The Metal Factory\u2019 where it teaches students how to \u201cmaster the art of growling\u201d in its singing classes, as well as playing guitar, bass, drum and keyboard for metal audiences (via\u00a0Australia\u2019s 7 News<\/a>).<\/p>\n
