Four people have been re-arrested after a dad was stabbed to death in a block of flats. Paul Foster was fatally stabbed inside a property on Muirhead Avenue, West Derby<\/a>, at around 1.40am on Tuesday, October 15.<\/p>\n Emergency services were called after reports a 47-year-old man had sustained serious injuries<\/a>. Mr Foster, of the Newsham Park area, was taken to hospital with a puncture wound but died his injuries. In an update on October 8, police confirmed the re-arrest<\/a> of four people on suspicion of murder:<\/p>\n They are all in police custody and will be questioned.<\/p>\n Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath said: \u201cOur investigation into Paul\u2019s death is progressing and these arrests form part of our ongoing inquiries.<\/p>\n \u201cAlthough we have re-arrested four people, we are still appealing for any information as we are determined to get answers for Paul\u2019s family.\u201d<\/p>\n In a tribute released a week on from his death, Paul’s family said: “Paul was a much-loved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a true friend to many. He was known for his sense of fun and infectious smile.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was a kind-hearted and funny man who would light up any room. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten by his heart-broken family and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
