A Castleford Tigers forward has announced his testimonial for 2026 after 15 seasons of top level rugby league.<\/strong><\/p>\n Brad Singleton only signed with Castleford Tigers this year, joining early in the season from struggling Salford Red Devils<\/a> as one of the first of many who would leave the club.<\/p>\n He was joined at Castleford by fellow Salford man Chris Atkin and whilst the pair certainly had a better season than those at Salford, it still proved to be a tough year for the Tigers as they finished eleventh in Super League.<\/p>\n Singleton would make 21 appearances for the Tigers but it\u2019s Castleford where he will have his testimonial after being granted one for his service to the game, having first debuted in 2011.<\/p>\n Starting his career with Leeds Rhinos, Singleton would play from 2011 to 2019 in Blue and Amber as he made 178 appearances before an unsuccessful switch to expansion side Toronto.<\/p>\n He landed on his feet though, signing with Wigan where he\u2019d lift the Challenge Cup and League Leaders Shield before joining Salford, initially on loan in late 2023, and then permanently.<\/p>\n Serious About Rugby League has launched a brand new podcast which can be watched in full on our\u00a0YouTube channel here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Castleford Tigers prop Brad Singleton granted testimonial<\/p>\n Across the years, he\u2019s racked up 269 appearances in Super League and heading into his age 33 season, it\u2019s feasible that he makes it to the 300-game mark.<\/p>\n Confirming his testimonial via his social media, Singleton shared a short message accompanied with a video.<\/p>\n The caption read: \u201cProud and grateful to be granted a testimonial. Started at Barrow Island with nothing but a love for rugby that love took me to Leeds, Wigan, Salford & Castleford. To my family, my dad, Jade & our boys\u2026 thank you for everything. This game\u2019s given me everything and more.\u201d<\/p>\n Within the video, he explained: \u201cI\u2019ve been really fortunate to be granted a service to the game three months testimonial, so December, January and February.<\/p>\n \u201cI think for me and the family, it\u2019s great. To do it over this side having spent ten years in Yorkshire, so do it as Cas, I\u2019m over the moon really.<\/p>\n \u201cProudest moment, I think every club has got a different story and I\u2019ve thoroughly enjoyed it all.
