Emergency services were called to reports of a crash involving a female pedestrian and a Toyota Prius at the junction of James Street and Castle Street at around 9.30pm last night, October 7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The woman, aged in her 20s, was taken to hospital where <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/car-collision\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"she is currently in a &quot;critical conditionLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">she is currently in a &#8220;critical condition<\/a>&#8220;.
