search for a new manager continues, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glasgowtimes.co.uk\/topics\/steven-gerrard\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steven Gerrard<\/a> widely linked to the vacant post.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Recently speaking on Rio Ferdinand&#8217;s podcast, the Liverpool legend admitted he has &#8216;unfinished business&#8217; in management.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Gerrard said: &#8220;I\u2019d love another go at some point.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;I want to change a few things and improve a few things and come back fresh with a few different people around myself.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;I\u2019d love another couple of challenges doing this.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;And that\u2019s what I\u2019m working on in the background at the moment.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;A few different ideas, a few different people around me.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Now, I\u2019m enjoying family time and doing a lot of things that I haven\u2019t been able to do.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Going to Grand Prix, doing exhibition games with ex-teammates and superstars, that type of stuff\u2019s been great.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;But there\u2019s a part of me that still feels that there\u2019s a bit of unfinished business in terms of wanting to go in and face another couple of exciting challenges.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;But I want a certain type of challenge.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;If in an ideal world they come available, I\u2019ll jump at them.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;If they don\u2019t, I won\u2019t go back in.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;I want to be at a team that\u2019s going to compete to win because I think that suits me better.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;I think certain jobs and certain clubs would suit my style and the way I like to go about it.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;But I\u2019ve also got time now where I\u2019m not in a rush, where I know the right people that are out there to make me a stronger and a better coach.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;They\u2019re the people I need to find.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The 25-year-old has not played since the second leg of Rangers&#8216;
