{"id":484523,"date":"2025-10-09T02:35:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T02:35:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/484523\/"},"modified":"2025-10-09T02:35:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T02:35:14","slug":"investment-platform-launched-in-france-to-accelerate-ev-charger-rollout-in-municipalities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/484523\/","title":{"rendered":"Investment platform launched in France to accelerate EV charger rollout in municipalities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/totalenergies.com\/fr\/actualites\/communiques-presse\/france-totalenergies-banque-territoires-sassocient-accelerer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TotalEnergies <\/a><\/strong>and <strong>Banque des Territoires<\/strong> join forces to launch<strong> an investment platform to support the rollout of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure<\/strong> in France.<\/p>\n<p>Jointly owned by TotalEnergies (51%) and Banque des Territoires (49%), <strong>the platform will assist municipalities and local authorities <\/strong>in their projects by:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Continuing the development of charging concessions already under construction or operated by TotalEnergies in several major French cities;<\/li>\n<li>Responding to local needs by launching new charging concession projects aimed at strengthening territorial coverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a major player in e-mobility in <a href=\"https:\/\/mobilityportal.eu\/france-builds-its-battery-valley\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">France<\/a>, TotalEnergies will contribute its expertise to the growth of the investment platform, with the aim of developing, operating, and maintaining a network of public charging infrastructure powered by electricity that is guaranteed to be 100% from renewable sources.<\/p>\n<p>To date, the Company operates nearly <strong>30,000 charging points<\/strong> across the country, including around <strong>4,500<\/strong> within public concessions located in metropolitan and peri-urban areas, contributing to a coherent and accessible nationwide charging network.<\/p>\n<p>Banque des Territoires has also supported the deployment of electric mobility across France for several years. Active in the sector since 2022, it has already committed over <strong>500 million euros<\/strong> in equity and quasi-equity funding to this area.<\/p>\n<p>The platform will draw on its expertise in financing public projects. This initiative is fully aligned with Banque des Territoires\u2019 strategic plan, which aims to accelerate the ecological transformation of local authorities and the shift towards low-carbon mobility across all territories.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to partner with Banque des Territoires to strengthen the territorial charging network and diversify the locations of EV charging infrastructure.
