We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"sc-1uza6dc-1 gunhQQ\">Your support makes all the difference.<\/strong>Read more<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/big-brother\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Brother<\/a> has announced that it has removed contestant George Gilbert from the reality show\u2019s house for \u201crepeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Gilbert, 23, had been a contestant on the latest series of the show, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/tv\/news\/big-brother-2025-uk-cast-start-vote-app-b2835687.html\">which launched on ITV in September<\/a>. The parish councillor had previously been given several warnings about his language on the show, one of which featured in Monday\u2019s episode (6 October).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour, George has been removed from the Big Brother House with immediate effect and will no longer participate in the programme,\u201d said a spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>Gilbert will still appear in Wednesday\u2019s episode of Big Brother, but his comments will not be aired due to them violating broadcasting standards. <\/p>\n<p>He had previously received several warnings for his unacceptable language, which appeared to mock fellow housemate Sam Ashby. A tearful Ashby later told Big Brother that Gilbert\u2019s impression was \u201crude\u201d and that it felt like he was \u201cback at school\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Gilbert was summoned to the Diary Room due to his language towards Ashby, where Big Brother told him: \u201cGeorge, before you entered the Big Brother House, the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you.
