Stage to Sell Club to New Investor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saudi sports chief Turki Al-Sheikh has hinted that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.givemesport.com\/db\/sports-team\/manchester-united\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester United<\/a> could soon be sold to a new investor, saying the club are in an \u2018advanced stage\u2019 of finalising a sale.<\/p>\n<p>The prominent Saudi official posted a message on X on Wednesday night suggesting that a potential new takeover bid may be coming for the Old Trafford side, just 20 months after Sir Jim Ratcliffe purchased a 27.7% stake in the club.<\/p>\n<p>The claims come amid reports that United are in talks over a potential mid-season friendly in Saudi Arabia, aimed at boosting revenues, after Ruben Amorim\u2019s side failed to qualify for European competitions last season.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority responsible for bringing some of the world\u2019s biggest sports events to Saudi Arabia, is reported to be in talks with United over mid-season friendlies, with the club potentially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.givemesport.com\/exclusive-manchester-united-mid-season-trip-saudi-arabia-value\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">earning around \u00a35m per game<\/a> if a deal goes ahead.<\/p>\n<p>                        <strong>Saudi Official Drops Man Utd Takeover Hint<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>        <img width=\"1650\" height=\"826\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ruben amorim\" data-img-url=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ruben-amorim.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ruben-amorim.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Al-Sheikh <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/turki_alalshikh\/status\/1976036066382798994?s=46\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">posted a message on X<\/a> on Wednesday night, suggesting that Man United could soon be sold to a new investor:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe best news I heard today is that Manchester United is now in an advanced stage of completing a deal to sell to a new investor&#8230;
