On the face of it, all is glorious at Liverpool<\/a>. The champions-elect will officially secure the Premier League title if they take just a point from their home game with Tottenham<\/a> on Sunday, with manager Arne Slot<\/a> set to cement a superb first season in charge at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Mohamed Salah<\/a> and Virgil van Dijk have signed new contracts<\/a>, ending months of speculation. Slot is also expected to be backed in the transfer window this summer as he bids to strengthen his squad for another title and Champions League challenge in 2025\/26. However, despite the club\u2019s stellar season, the future of several players remains in doubt.<\/p>\n

Speculation is growing that Darwin Nunez will soon depart Merseyside. Another young star is now being urged to leave, with his stock at Liverpool<\/a> falling dramatically after Jurgen Klopp<\/a>\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n

Harvey Elliott has made just 23 appearances in all competitions this season, most of which have come from the bench. A late winner at Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of Liverpool\u2019s Champions League last-16 clash<\/a>, a tie they would eventually lose on penalties, hasn\u2019t persuaded Slot to offer him a more prominent role.<\/p>\n

Former Red Joe Cole has now named the 22-year-old as one player who needs to move on for first-team football, telling Paddy Power: \u201cFor Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, I think they\u2019re both fantastic players and are capable of playing for England, but unfortunately, Liverpool<\/a> are very strong in that area of the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Slot\u2019s predecessor, Klopp, had regularly lauded Elliott\u2019s worth to his squad. Indeed, after leaving his role last summer, he expressed regret over giving the youngster more game time after signing him from Fulham as a 16-year-old.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d love to see Harvey playing regularly,\u201d added Cole. \u201cThere are options for him and if he does become available, I think quite a few teams will be interested in him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a fantastic player and I\u2019d like to see him leave Liverpool<\/a> to play regular football because he\u2019s old enough and has done his time.
