\nPrincess Beatrice jets to home of Harry and Meghan<\/p>\n
Princess Beatrice<\/a> was reportedly in attendance of a New York wedding on October 4. The princess celebrated the marriage of her long-time friend James Green. James Green wed his husband James Hirschfeld in Long Island on Saturday.<\/p>\n In a snap shared to social media by a fellow guest, Beatrice was reportedly seen rocking a sparkling black dress. The princess could be seen smiling beside the newlyweds.<\/p>\n The reception took place in a large and lavish tent with flowers, candles and sparkling lanterns.<\/p>\n A photo of the wedding menu also shared to Instagram stories detailed that the lucky guests enjoyed mushroom risotto and branzino.<\/p>\n For dessert they finished their meal with raspberry pavlova. Yum!\u00a0<\/p>\n Beatrice and James Green have been close pals for a number of years. In June 2004, when Beatrice was 16 and James was 17, they were snapped (you can see the image, here<\/a>) at the Stella Artois tennis championship at London\u2019s Queen\u2019s Club.<\/p>\n James\u2019 hubby, also named James (Hirschfeld) is known as one of the co-founders of the popular online invite company Paperless Post.<\/p>\n Is Princess Beatrice close to Meghan Markle?<\/p>\n Amid the celebrations, Beatrice was of course in the US. In fact, she was just 41 hours away from Harry and Meghan\u2019s home<\/a> state of California.<\/p>\n This begs the question: \u201cDid Beatrice drop in on her cousin and his family?\u201d<\/p>\n Well, nothing has been said of a potential reunion. But we do know that Beatrice shares a relationship with Harry and Meghan.<\/p>\n In fact, earlier this year, following the birth of her second child, a daughter, Athena<\/a>, it was guessed that Beatrice probably extended an olive branch to the Sussexes.<\/p>\n After welcoming her bundle of joy, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond mused to The Mirror<\/a> that it\u2019s likely that Beatrice may have \u201cpinged a picture or two [of Athena] to Harry and Meghan,\u201d to keep them in the loop.<\/p>\n Bond also guessed that the welcoming of a new little royal could slightly increase the chance of Harry and Meghan reconnecting with their relatives.<\/p>\n Princess Beatrice\u2019s \u2018olive branch\u2019 to Harry and Meghan<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think it will hasten a visit by them to the UK, but perhaps if charity work or business brings Harry this way he\u2019ll be keen to meet his new cousin,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Since then, we know, of course, that Harry has seemingly reconnected with his father, King Charles<\/a>, despite rumours of a rift after Harry fled the UK to live in Montecito with his wife.<\/p>\n Other royal experts have guessed that Beatrice is probably a peace-maker between Harry and Meghan and the wider Firm.<\/p>\n \u201c[Princess] Beatrice could act as a peacemaker for Harry, William, and Charles,\u201d Grant Harrold reportedly claimed.<\/p>\n \u201cShe would be someone to initiate peace in the family.
