Four people have been charged with murder after a dad was stabbed to death in a block of flats. Paul Foster was fatally stabbed inside a property on Muirhead Avenue, West Derby<\/a>, at around 1.40am on Tuesday, October 15 last year.<\/p>\n Emergency services were called after reports a 47-year-old man had sustained serious injuries<\/a>. Mr Foster, of the Newsham Park area, was taken to hospital with a puncture wound but died his injuries. In an update today, October 9, police said four people have now been charged with murder.<\/p>\n They are Dylan Blundell, 26, of no fixed abode, Elsadig Abrahim, 60, of Croxteth<\/a> Road, in Toxteth<\/a>, Michael Fields, 49, of no fixed abode, and Sarah Kasseum, 40, of Lower Breck Road, in Anfield<\/a><\/p>\n Blundell, Abrahim and Kasseum all appeared at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court<\/a> this morning, Thursday, and were remanded to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court tomorrow, Friday, October 10.<\/p>\n Fields was also remanded and his first appearance is tomorrow at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court.<\/p>\n Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath said: \u201cI would like to take this opportunity to remind people that this is a live investigation, and to be mindful that anything posted or shared on social media could jeopardise proceedings, so please support us as we move forward with the case. The best way to help is to pass information on through official channels.<\/p>\n \u201cTo that end, we are still keen to hear from anyone who may hold information and not yet made themselves known to police. Thanks to all of those who have assisted us so far.\u201d<\/p>\n In a tribute released a week on from his death, Paul’s family said: “Paul was a much-loved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a true friend to many. He was known for his sense of fun and infectious smile.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was a kind-hearted and funny man who would light up any room.
