Liverpool need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the international break is often frowned upon, October\u2019s break genuinely doesn\u2019t feel like it could have come at a better time for Liverpool<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The Reds were in a massive slump, with Arne Slot\u2019s<\/a> men managing to lose their last three games across all competitions. <\/p>\n

In fact, things were so bad that some fans were even calling for the head of the Dutchman and for Mohamed Salah to be dropped<\/a>. <\/p>\n

And, while these were likely just reactionary takes after losing against Chelsea, it shows how much can change in such a short space of time. <\/p>\n

Liverpool were touted to be the favourites to win the Premier League<\/a> this term, but most fans and pundits, such as Gary Lineker, have now changed their minds<\/a> and believe Arsenal will win it. <\/p>\n

Pat Nevin says Liverpool must become a well-drilled team before even thinking about winning the Premier League<\/p>\n

Although things haven\u2019t been at their best for the last few games with Liverpool, the fact that they\u2019re second in the Premier League shows how well they\u2019ve actually done. <\/p>\n

Despite losing two top-flight games, they\u2019re still just one point behind first-place Arsenal, a team that they\u2019ve already beaten this term. <\/p>\n

And now, while speaking to BBC Sport<\/a>, former Everton man Pat Nevin has given his thoughts on what Liverpool need to do so that they can secure the Premier League title. <\/p>\n

\u201cThree defeats in three have not quite got the alarm bells ringing at Anfield, though Liverpool clearly have a few problems,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFlorian Wirtz, Alexander Isak and Mohamed Salah have not yet gelled as a unit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey look more like a group of ultra-talented individuals than a well-drilled team, and this must change if they are going to defend their title.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arne Slot must figure out a way to get his Liverpool team to gel soon<\/p>\n

Individually, Liverpool have some of the world\u2019s best players among their ranks. <\/p>\n

The likes of Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, and Mohamed Salah would get into almost any team across the globe<\/a>, with many expecting Liverpool to be untouchable this term. <\/p>\n

And, while that may have been the case at the start of the season, since their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace<\/a>, cracks have started to show. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s clear that even though we\u2019re over a month into the 2025-26 season now that most of Liverpool\u2019s players haven\u2019t got used to the way their teammates play. <\/p>\n
