That’s rarely beneficial. It’s also not good for the motivation of my own team,” said Nagelsmann (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Nagelsmann will have both Nick Woltemade and Nico Schlotterbeck in the fold, though Nagelsmann did not commit to how much either player would be on the field. Woltemade was battling the flu earlier this week and Schlotterbeck is just coming off of a long-term injury.

“After an infection, we always have to wait and see. We’ll see tomorrow morning. (Woltemade) felt well in training. As of today, he could start. We have to wait tonight and then make a decision during the course of tomorrow,” Nagelsmann said. “I haven’t decided yet whether (Schlotterbeck will) start. That could well be the case. But I’m aware that he won’t play the full 90 minutes twice.”

Given that neither Luxembourg nor Northern Ireland will exactly be a juggernaut, Nagelsmann should have some flexibility with this lineups. Hopefully, the squad does not experience any injury setbacks over the course of these two matches.

Bayern Munich’s news cycle is off the charts even during this international break.
