Curated by Letterboxd head of platform content Jack Moulton.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The general eligibility rules include\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Feature-length narrative films included only.<\/li>\n<li>Films must have their first national release in any country in 2025.<\/li>\n<li>Films with only festival screenings in 2025 included until the end of the year.<\/li>\n<li>There is a 1,000 minimum view threshold.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Letterboxd\u2019s Top 25 Horror Films of 2025 features some obvious picks including <strong>Sinners <\/strong>(at #1), <strong>Weapons<\/strong>, <strong>Bring Her Back<\/strong>, <strong>28 Years Later<\/strong>, <strong>Together<\/strong>, and Guillermo del Toro\u2019s acclaimed upcoming Netflix movie <strong>Frankenstein<\/strong>, but the list also represents the wide breadth of tastes and home countries among Letterboxd\u2019s millions of users.<\/p>\n<p>Not-yet-released films including Curry Barker\u2019s<strong> Obsession<\/strong>, Tina Romero\u2019s <strong>Queens of the Dead<\/strong>, Bryan Fuller\u2019s <strong>Dust Bunny<\/strong>, and Charlie Polinger\u2019s<strong> The Plague<\/strong> made the list thanks to festival screenings, while the list includes many horror films you maybe haven\u2019t heard of yet.<\/p>\n<p>Films like <strong>It Ends<\/strong>, <strong>The Virgin of the Quarry Lake<\/strong>, <strong>I Am Frankelda<\/strong>, <strong>Vash Level 2<\/strong>, <strong>Obex<\/strong>, and <strong>Dead Lover<\/strong> should probably be on your genre radar for the near future.<\/p>\n<p><a
