The firm now has a support team of 180-plus for its nationwide team of consultant lawyers, with a revenue growth of 47% year-on-year reaching almost \u00a370 million.<\/p>\n<p>The firm has chosen not to pursue mergers or acquisitions, instead focusing on attracting lawyers to join its platform-based consultancy model. \u2018Our rise in The Lawyer UK Top 100 shows how much momentum our model has\u2019, said <b>co-CEO Chris Setford<\/b> (pictured).\u200b<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>Lawyers are increasingly choosing\u00a0Setfords\u00a0because we offer them freedom, control, and a level of support that simply\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0exist in traditional firms. This is organic growth in its truest form \u2013 lawyers voting with their feet.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Chief growth officer George Reynolds<\/strong> added:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe scale of this recruitment, paired with unrivalled infrastructure and support, is what continues to fuel our growth \u2013 and\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0clear from these rankings that our platform model is now firmly\u00a0established\u00a0as a mainstream alternative.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As well as naming Setfords the fastest growing firm, The Lawyer commended it for having the highest lock-up reduction of any law firm in the UK Top 100 rankings since 2023, with a decrease of 28%.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Our success in reducing lock-up is the result of close collaboration with our lawyers combined with the introduction of automation and technology to make processes more efficient\u2019, <strong>chief financial officer <\/strong><strong>Angus McDowell <\/strong>explained.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cUltimately, it\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0been about one big silver bullet, but rather a series of marginal gains across the breadth of our processes that together make\u00a0a big impact.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Co-CEO Guy Setford<\/strong> concluded:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis recognition underlines not only our commercial strength but also our cultural difference.
