Leeds United forward Brenden Aaronson is enjoying one of his best runs of form after enjoying an unexpected run of games in the Premier League. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Brenden Aaronson<\/a> was not expected to be a regular starter under Daniel Farke<\/a> this season as Leeds returned to the top flight. <\/p>\n

However, injuries to flying winger Dan James<\/a> and Italian forward Willy Gnonto<\/a> provided Aaronson with an unexpected opportunity, two years after last featuring in the Premier League<\/a> with Leeds. <\/p>\n

Aaronson has enjoyed a strong run<\/a> of form for Leeds so far this season, impressing with his tireless running and high pressing in a new-look attack, alongside Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Now, Aaronson has revealed that playing alongside Calvert-Lewin has helped him to unlock his best form as Leeds look to stay in the top flight. <\/p>\n

Speaking to the Philadelphia Inquirer<\/a>, Aaronson explained how the arrival of Leeds\u2019 new number nine has helped to simplify his role in the Leeds side, having been asked to play off the right-hand side of a front three. <\/p>\n

According to Aaronson, Farke wants him to play as close as possible to Calvert-Lewin, which has helped him to understand his position more. <\/p>\n

Aaronson said: \u201c[Farke] just wants to see me do my game, like how I played last year: Be creative, be creating from the right wing position. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf it\u2019s creating chances on the dribble, finding people with through balls, playing close to Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the striker. I\u2019ve been given time to kind of understand the position a little bit more, and grow used to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aaronson suffered a tough time in his first season in the top flight with Leeds, as the Whites slumped to relegation after he was brought to the club by Jesse Marsch<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The USMNT international spent Leeds\u2019 first year back in the Championship<\/a> away from the club on loan, but returned last season to play a part in their promotion campaign. According to the diminutive forward, he always dreamt of getting back to the top flight and contributing to his side. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s always a dream come true playing in the Premier League, and being able to play week in, week out right now is a dream,\u201d Aaronson said. <\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, it would be nice to score, but in the Premier League you get very few chances.
