Joining Ocean Colour Scene as the tour\u2019s very special guests will be The Enemy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">The 13-date tour will start at Glasgow\u2019s OVO Hydro on 21 November, followed by a number of other arena dates including Manchester AO Arena on 28 November, Utilita Arena Cardiff on 4 December and The O2, London on 9 December, before a final night hometown show at Birmingham\u2019s bp pulse Live on 12 December.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">An artist pre-sale will begin at 9am on Wednesday, 15 October, followed by a venue pre-sale from 9am on Thursday, 16 October before tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday, 17 October, available from the venues, the Ocean Colour Scene website and Ticketmaster <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com?id=76202X1528180&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.co.uk%2Focean-colour-scene-tickets%2Fartist%2F750020&amp;sref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.manchestereveningnews.co.uk%2Fwhats-on%2Fmusic-nightlife-news%2Fbritpop-icons-announce-huge-uk-32648639\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"hereLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Ocean Colour Scene\u2019s lead singer Simon Fowler said: \u201cIt\u2019s hard to believe that Moseley Shoals turns 30 in 2026. See you all in 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Released in April 1996, at the height of the Britpop era, Moseley Shoals was Ocean Colour Scene\u2019s second album, and immediately became a big success.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/2_Ocean-Colour-Scenes-Simon-Fowler-photo-credit-Jim-Mitcham-10JPG.jpg\" alt=\"Ocean Colour Scene\u2019s lead singer Simon Fowler \" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Ocean Colour Scene\u2019s lead singer Simon Fowler (Image: Jim Mitcham )<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Reaching number 2 on the UK Albums Chart, the record featured the massive hit singles \u2018The Riverboat Song\u2019, \u2018You\u2019ve Got It Bad\u2019, \u2018The Day We Caught The Train\u2019 and \u2018The Circle\u2019, and was certified as triple-platinum after spending 92 weeks on the chart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">In August that year, Oasis invited Ocean Colour Scene to be their special guests at one of their historic concerts held at Knebworth. Performing a blistering set in front 125,000 people, Ocean Colour Scene firmly cemented their status as one of Britain\u2019s biggest bands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">For the Moseley Shoals 30th anniversary tour, in addition to playing all the highlights from Moseley Shoals, Ocean Colour Scene will play a career-spanning set to include all of their other hits and fan favourites, such as \u2018Hundred Mile High City\u2019, \u2018Travellers Tune\u2019, \u2018Better Day and \u2018Profit In Peace\u2019, amongst many others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Speaking about the tour, and what fans can expect, drummer Oscar Harrison said: \u201cOur 2026 UK tour is something we are going to celebrate in a very big way.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1_Ocean-Colour-Scene-press-shot-photo-credit-Brian-Sweeney.jpg\" alt=\"Ocean Colour Scene \" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Ocean Colour Scene (Image: Brian Sweeney)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">&#8220;As with our sold-out tour this year, these dates will be all the more special for having my boy Leon on percussion and Steve\u2019s son, Cass, on keys and guitar, enabling us to deliver the full Ocean Colour Scene sound for our fans. This one\u2019s for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Formed in Birmingham in 1989, Ocean Colour Scene began creating songs in the spirit of the soul, folk and blues greats who inspired them, with words and melodies that would soon chime with the group\u2019s fiercely loyal fanbase.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">After a few years honing their sound, Ocean Colour Scene became a household name with the release of \u2018Moseley Shoals\u2019, which was quickly followed by the Top 10 albums \u2018Marchin\u2019 Already\u2019, \u2018One From The Modern\u2019, and \u2018Mechanical Drift\u2019 (2001).<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Enjoying an incredible run of seventeen Top 40 singles, which included nine successive Top 20 singles, Ocean Colour Scene are not only one of the UK\u2019s most successful groups, they are also regarded as one of the country\u2019s very best live bands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Ocean Colour Scene\u2019s manager Alan McGee added: \u201cOcean Colour Scene released Moseley Shoals at the epicentre of an incredible time for music: 1996.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1_cean-Colour-Scenes-Steve-Cradock-please-credit-Jim-Mitcham.jpg\" alt=\"Guitarist Steve Cradock of Ocean Colour Scene \" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Guitarist Steve Cradock of Ocean Colour Scene (Image: Jim Mitcham )<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">&#8220;When I was asked to manage them four years ago we set out on a journey to celebrate their unique sound and deliver it back to the masses. This tour is their biggest in 30 years and puts them in their rightful place as one of the truly great bands their generation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">The tour\u2019s special guests The Enemy formed in Coventry in 2006, and saw their debut album \u2018We&#8217;ll Live and Die in These Towns\u2019 go straight to number one in the UK Albums Chart in 2007. The album also included the hit singles \u2018Away From Here\u2019, \u2018Had Enough\u2019 and \u2018You\u2019re Not Alone\u2019, in addition to the album\u2019s title track.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Looking ahead to the tour, The Enemy\u2019s lead singer Tom Clarke said: \u201cI still have my first guitar, and the first song I learned to play on it was \u2018The Day We Caught The Train\u2019 by Ocean Colour Scene. On the headstock is Simon Fowler&#8217;s signature.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">&#8220;In twenty years of touring with other artists, I&#8217;ve never asked for another musician\u2019s signature. That&#8217;s the only one I needed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">&#8220;Every time we share a stage with them it&#8217;s a childhood dream come true. They&#8217;re still the greatest band I&#8217;ve seen live, and they&#8217;ve got more hit songs than most bands have had hot dinners.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">&#8220;I&#8217;m looking forward to supporting OCS at some of the biggest room in the UK.
