Saracens prop Bryony Cleall has announced she will retire after Saturday’s Premiership Women’s Rugby Cup final against her former club Harlequins at StoneX Stadium.<\/b><\/p>\n

Cleall, 33, won two Six Nations titles with England and two league titles with Sarries.<\/p>\n

“After an incredible 27 years, with a fair few injuries along the way, the time has come to hang up the boots and step away from playing the game I have loved since I was six years old,” she told Saracens’ website, external<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“To finish my career by running out at the StoneX one last time, in a final against Harlequins no less, could not have been scripted any better. And to have found my way home to the club makes it even more special.”<\/p>\n

Cleall spent five years with Saracens, where she won two Premiership Women’s Rugby titles, before joining Wasps in 2021.<\/p>\n

She moved to Harlequins in 2022, where she played for two seasons, before returning to Saracens in March last year and winning the PWR Cup.<\/p>\n

Sarries also reached the league final last season and were beaten by Gloucester-Hartpury at StoneX.<\/p>\n
