Dean Huijsen has fired out a nine-word message on social media amid transfer links with Liverpool<\/a>. Huijsen, whose contract with Bournemouth is set to run until June 2030, has made 27 appearances in the Premier League<\/a> this season, contributing to seven clean sheets.<\/p>\n The Spanish international has played a pivotal role in Andoni Iraola’s team, helping Bournemouth secure eighth place in the top-flight table. His standout performances have reportedly caught the attention of several clubs<\/a>, with Chelsea<\/a> now thought to be front-runners for his signature.<\/p>\n However, they are said to face stiff competition from The Reds, Arsenal and Newcastle United.<\/p>\n And the talented defender has now posted on social media as he looks to help Bournemouth end the season strongly. The Cherries host Manchester United next on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n “Be better than yesterday. Eyes on the next one,” he said in his latest Instagram<\/a> post.<\/p>\n According to MailOnline<\/a>, Liverpool are keen to sign both Milos Kerkez and Huijsen in the summer transfer window. The report suggests that the pair could command a combined fee of \u00a395million.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, Huijsen confirmed there’s a release clause in his contract at Bournemouth. Speaking to Spanish outlet El Chiringuito TV, as quoted by ESPN<\/a>, he said: “I have a contract until 2030, [but] I do have a [release] clause.<\/p>\n “I don’t know (if I\u2019ll join Real Madrid), we’ll see. It’s a big team. Every player wants to play in the maximum [level] possible. A friend called me and said, ‘Go to Real Madrid’. I laughed. What am I going to say?”<\/p>\n Speaking earlier this week, Jamie Carragher<\/a> believes Arne Slot “doesn’t trust” his squad and that his former side need to strengthen in two key areas this summer.<\/p>\n “If you look at Liverpool this season \u2013 this is not the managers squad, it is J\u00fcrgen Klopp\u2019s,” he told Stick to Football podcast<\/a>. “Arne Slot doesn\u2019t trust the squad.<\/p>\n “When people talk about Liverpool at the end of the season, their style during the winter is not the same and is not consistent like the rest of the season. Slot plays the same players every week.<\/p>\n “We don\u2019t know if that\u2019s his way of play, but we will probably find out next season. If Ibrahima Konat\u00e9 or Virgil Van Dijk got injured, who would come in at the back really?<\/p>\n “They have Jarell Quansah and Joe Gomez, who is injury prone. Liverpool need another centre-back to really push Konat\u00e9.
