Ben Forster did not appreciate what he saw from a Tottenham star at Elland Road on Saturday after he had just made a decisive contribution to his side.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is usually one player who always bears the brunt of a fan base at any given time. This time last season, it was Brennan Johnson, who even deactivated his social media amid criticism from fans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, the player who is feeling the wrath of the supporters is Guglielmo Vicario, who some Spurs fans have called to be dropped<\/a> in light of some of his errors of late.<\/p>\n

This is despite the fact that stats suggest that Vicario remains one of the best shot-stoppers in the Premier League<\/a> this season.<\/p>\n

There were perhaps a few question marks about how the Italian dealt with Leeds\u2019 first-half goal, with the 28-year-old parrying the shot into the danger area.<\/p>\n

However, in Vicario\u2019s<\/a> defence, the initial shot was deflected, and the goalkeeper made amends with some of the saves he made at Elland Road.<\/p>\n

While Foster revealed that he was impressed with one particular stop that the former Empoli man produced, he admitted that he hated the Tottenham number one\u2019s reaction after that.<\/p>\n

Foster said on his The Cycling GK YouTube channel about the Spurs<\/a> goalkeeper: \u201cNo, I wouldn\u2019t put him there (as a top six keeper). He did make that save down to his left, which was a world-class save, but then got up and gave it that (a celebration), and I hate that.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor this weekend, I\u2019m not putting him in because he got up and went \u2018yes, I\u2019m the man, I\u2019m the man.\u2019 I don\u2019t like that, I\u2019m just thinking, make your save and get up.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

What Thomas Frank is thinking about Vicario<\/p>\n

According to various reports, Frank is not concerned about Vicario\u2019s form<\/a>, and Tottenham are not looking at the possibility of signing a new goalkeeper in January.<\/p>\n

The Spurs head coach\u2019s view of the goalkeeper was made clear last week when Frank named Vicario as a part of Tottenham\u2019s leadership group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It thus appears that despite the noise coming from the outside, the Italy international is valued very highly internally at Spurs.<\/p>\n
