Change is on the horizon for the royal family \u2014 especially regarding the titles of Prince Harry<\/strong> and his wife, Meghan Markle<\/strong>, according to a source.<\/p>\n

Prince William<\/strong> appeared on the October 3 episode of Apple TV+\u2019s The Reluctant Traveler and told host Eugene Levy<\/strong> it was \u201csafe to say that change is on my agenda, change for good\u201d when he takes the crown.<\/p>\n

\u201cI embrace that and I enjoy that change, I don\u2019t fear it, that\u2019s the bit that excites me, is the idea of being able to bring some change, not overly radical change, but changes that I think need to happen,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

However, a source tells the Examiner that the Sussexes \u201csee this sort of talk as a very thinly veiled threat.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s pretty much accepted within the royal household that once he does take the throne, Harry and Meghan will immediately get their titles yanked,\u201d the source claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe hasn\u2019t said it publicly but the things he\u2019s said in this interview, this big emphasis on how he will change things, is certainly being seen by a lot of people as him all but coming out and confirming that cutting Harry and Meghan completely loose is part of the plan,\u201d the source adds.<\/p>\n

The source further alleges that the Prince of Wales, 43, \u201cdoesn\u2019t approve of how easy-handed\u201d<\/a> his father, King Charles III,<\/strong> has been with Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44.<\/p>\n

As the Examiner previously reported,<\/a> Harry met with Charles for a private tea in the UK last month, putting an end to their 19-month estrangement.<\/p>\n

Last week, an insider told the Examiner<\/a> that the sovereign is \u201curging\u201d William to reconcile with Harry.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a real sense that the king is trying all in his power to soothe over family tensions and get things in order before William takes the crown,\u201d the insider revealed.<\/p>\n
