There are two new millionaires in the UK who aren\u2019t aware of it as they haven\u2019t yet come forward to claim their winnings.<\/p>\n

Two people have won the Lotto<\/a> jackpot after matching all six main numbers, during the October 4 and October 8 draws.<\/p>\n

But neither winner has come forward yet \u2013 and they only have 180 days from the date of the win to claim their massive prize.<\/p>\n

Last Saturday (October 4) a single ticketholder won a massive \u00a310.6million jackpot<\/a>. They matched all six winning numbers, which were 06, 08, 12, 33, 49, and 59.<\/p>\n

Then on Wednesday (October 8) another single ticketholder claimed the jackpot worth \u00a32million, matching all six winning numbers: 02, 21, 42, 48, 56, and 57.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s winning ticket was purchased in retail, it\u2019s now been confirmed, so players who bought physical tickets for the draw are being urged to check if they\u2019re the lucky winner.<\/p>\n

The method of play for Wednesday\u2019s win hasn\u2019t been released yet \u2013 National Lottery operator Allwyn says they will release this detail if the prize is still unclaimed next week.<\/p>\n

Andy Carter, senior winners\u2019 advisor at Allwyn, said: \u2018We urge Lotto players to check their tickets in case they are one of our would-be multi-millionaires.<\/p>\n

\u2018Check your bags, coat pockets \u2013 down the back of the sofa even \u2013 as the lucky tickets are out there! <\/p>\n

\u2018Landing either of these jackpots will change lives and I look forward to meeting our lucky winners and paying out their incredible prizes in the run up to Christmas<\/a>!\u2019<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a lucky couple of weeks for UK National Lottery players as a EuroMillions<\/a> draw last week saw\u00a0one ticket-holder take home the \u00a326million jackpot<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In July, a family from Cork won\u00a0the largest EuroMillions prize in Ireland\u2019s history<\/a>\u00a0taking home a massive \u00a3216,000,000.<\/p>\n

It seems this part of Ireland contains all of the lucky tickets after\u00a0a family from County Cork bagged \u00a3208 million in June<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of the top five biggest jackpot winners from the UK, the only ones to have revealed their identity are British couple Jess and Joe Thwaite, who scooped \u20ac215 million\u00a0(around \u00a3184 million) in May 2022.<\/p>\n

They revealed they still went to work on the day they found out and decided to go public so as not to \u2018burden\u2019 others with their secret.<\/p>\n

Winning such a colossal amount of money<\/a>\u00a0seems like a dream come true \u2013 and for some it really is.<\/p>\n

But,\u00a0as we explored here<\/a>, there are many examples of winners whose lives took a turn for the worse after scooping the jackpot.<\/p>\n

Of course we don\u2019t want to take pleasure in other people\u2019s misery, but if you\u2019re feeling a little sad that you didn\u2019t win last night\u2019s gigantic sum, bearing that in mind might take the edge off.<\/p>\n
