A Qatar Airways flight from Edinburgh<\/a> was forced to make a diversion mid-air due to a problem with the onboard fridges.<\/p>\n Flight QR030 left the capital<\/a> for Doha shortly after 3pm on Thursday, October 9, before it had to be sent to London Heathrow.<\/p>\n As reported by Edinburgh Live<\/a>, it comes after a technical issue regarding the on-board chillers was noticed.<\/p>\n The aircraft<\/a> landed in London to uplift catering before heading to the Qatar capital.<\/p>\n It’s currently unclear what the issue was but the airline have since said that the security and safety of their passengers is their “highest priority”.<\/p>\n It’s understood passengers<\/a> witnessed crew load food onto the flight before departing from Heathrow.<\/p>\n A Qatar Airways spokesperson: \u201cQatar Airways confirms that flight QR030 from Edinburgh to Doha diverted to London Heathrow on October 9 due to a technical issue relating to the on-board chillers.<\/p>\n “The aircraft made the diversion in order to uplift catering for its onward journey to Doha.
