Leeds United<\/a> winger Willy Gnonto<\/a> is reportedly attracting interest from Saudi Arabian clubs ahead of the January window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If Leeds find themselves in with a chance of survival by the time the January window rolls around, they cannot let opportunities pass them by.<\/p>\n

With that, signings ought to be made to strengthen the attack. The only issue is that managing director Robbie Evans has already stated how the club has \u2018maxed out\u2019 PSR<\/a>, so would need to sell.<\/p>\n

Of course, backed by the Public Investment Fund, Saudi Arabian clubs have bankrolled enormous spending in the past few years. Saudi Pro League sides Neom SC and Al-Ittihad are claimed to be keen on the United wide man.<\/p>\n

Neom are newcomers to the top flight over in the Middle East. In the process, they\u2019ve made a number of eye-catching signings over the summer. They signed Alexandre Lacazette, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Marcin Bulka among others.<\/p>\n

As for Al-Ittihad, Gnonto would play alongside N\u2019Golo Kante, Karim Benzema, Fabinho and Moussa Diaby amongst others. They did, however, already spend \u201cover \u00a326million\u201d<\/a> on a young right-winger in Braga\u2019s Roger Fernandes back in the summer.<\/p>\n

What do Leeds United do with Willy Gnonto if Saudi Arabian clubs offer huge money?<\/p>\n

At this stage, it\u2019s a transfer that you simply don\u2019t even think about accepting.<\/p>\n

However, there is a school of thought that I can see some having, where a sale of (for example) \u00a330million for Gnonto would be seen as beneficial.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen Sunderland been able to spend massive sums after cashing in on two players during the summer. If Leeds want to spend big in January, a big sale might be required.<\/p>\n

However, we already look short of creative spark and right-wing depth. Selling Gnonto would set us back even further in that position.<\/p>\n
