A dry and mild weekend is expected across Greater Manchester.<\/p>\n

It has been a dry, if overcast, start to today (Saturday, October 11) with sunny spells now breaking out in large parts of the region.<\/p>\n

Temperatures are likely to peak at 16C, which is above average for the time of year. There are also unseasonably light winds.<\/p>\n

Forecasters expect it to stay much the same ntil early next week, with high pressure expected to keep things ‘largely dry and settled’.<\/p>\n

According to the Met Office, it will stay dry for the rest of the day and will likely be a clear evening. It might become chillier overnight with temperatures dropping to single figures, around 9C, overnight.<\/p>\n

There could also be some mist and in foggy patches beginning to form in the early hours.<\/p>\n

These could take some time to clear on Sunday morning (October 12), they say, but once they do it is likely to see an outbreak of intermittent sunny spells.<\/p>\n

Temperatures could again reach 16C on Sunday, with forecasters saying the light winds will make it feel even warmer.<\/p>\n

It should be a clear night, however it could well become overcast into Monday morning, the Met Office says.<\/p>\n

More sunny spells are possible, with temperatures peaking at around 17C.<\/p>\n
