A man has died after the Jaguar he was driving was involved in a crash with a blood transportation vehicle.<\/p>\n
It happened in the early afternoon on Princess Road in south Manchester on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 10.<\/p>\n
A Jaguar XF Luxe and a Kia Sportage blood transportation vehicle were involved in the collision near the junction with Mauldeath Road West, on the border of Withington<\/a> and Whalley Range<\/a>.<\/p>\n The man, who was driving the Jaguar, was in his 50s, police said.<\/p>\n Join the Manchester Evening News <\/strong>WhatsApp<\/strong> group <\/strong>HERE<\/a><\/p>\n On Tuesday this week (October 7), 27 days after the collision, he sadly died Greater Manchester Police<\/a> (GMP) confirmed in a statement this afternoon (Saturday).<\/p>\n GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is now appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.<\/p>\n “They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any CCTV footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision,” the force statement reads.<\/p>\n “Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 0161 856 4741 quoting reference number of 378 of 08\/10\/2025.<\/p>\n “Information can also be shared using our ‘report’ tool or LiveChat function on our website: www.gmp.police.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n
