New data has revealed Greater Manchester<\/a>‘s latest property <\/a>hotspot areas where house prices<\/a> are soaring.<\/p>\n

The average house price in the UK fell by \u00a3794 or 0.3 percent month-on-month in September, according to an index by Halifax.<\/p>\n

The annual rate of house price growth also eased to 1.3 percent, from 2.0 percent in August, taking the typical property value to \u00a3298,184.<\/p>\n

However, there are certain parts of our region that are defying the downward trend, our exclusive analysis of the latest Land Registry data has now revealed.<\/p>\n

In 10 Greater Manchester<\/a> postcode areas, house prices have risen by more than 10 percent.<\/p>\n

If prices are climbing in a certain area, it usually indicates that demand is outweighing supply – and that properties are becoming more sought-after.<\/p>\n

Here are Greater Manchester’s 10 latest property hotspot areas where house prices are soaring:<\/strong><\/p>\n

House prices in Firswood, a suburban area of Stretford<\/a> in Trafford<\/a>, have soared over the last year.<\/p>\n

The average property price has gone up by a whopping 32.8 percent from \u00a3241,456 to \u00a3320,565 over the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

WN1<\/p>\n

Another of the region’s property hotspots is Haigh, a village in Wigan<\/a>, where house prices have shot up by 19.1 percent in the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

You can now expect to buy a house for an average price of \u00a3235,404 compared to \u00a3197,632 last year.<\/p>\n

OL1<\/p>\n

In Chadderton<\/a>, a town in Oldham<\/a>, house prices have risen by 16.6 percent over the last year.<\/p>\n

Despite still being one of the cheaper areas on the list, the average property price has increased from \u00a3163,633 to \u00a3190,747 over the last year.<\/p>\n

House prices in Bardsley in Oldham have shot up by 15.3 percent in the last year.<\/p>\n

As a property hotspot area, you can now expect to pay around \u00a3186,496 for the average house here compared to \u00a3161,726 12 months ago.<\/p>\n

M38<\/p>\n

Another part of the region where house prices are soaring is Little Hulton, a suburb in Salford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The average cost of a home is now \u00a3195,495, which has gone up by 11.7 percent over the last year from \u00a3174,975 the year prior.<\/p>\n

M9<\/p>\n

In Harpurhey<\/a>, an inner-city suburb of Manchester, house prices have climbed by 11.6 percent over the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

The average property price now sits at \u00a3200,227 compared to \u00a3179,369 a year ago.<\/p>\n

OL15<\/p>\n

Littleborough<\/a>, a town in Rochdale<\/a>, is another of the region’s latest property hotspots, with an average house price of \u00a3249,817.<\/p>\n

This has risen by 11.3 percent from \u00a3224,498 a year ago.<\/p>\n

In Stalybridge<\/a>, a town in Tameside<\/a>, the average property price has climbed by 11 percent over the last year.<\/p>\n

You can now expect to pay an average of \u00a3242,179 for a house compared to \u00a3218,195 a year ago.<\/p>\n

WN2<\/p>\n

Abram, a village in Wigan, is also one of the region’s latest property hotspots.<\/p>\n

The average cost of a home here has risen by 10.9 percent over the last year, taking the average house price from \u00a3178,992 up to \u00a3198,485.<\/p>\n

M45<\/p>\n

Whitefield<\/a>, a town in Bury<\/a>, has also seen house prices soar over the last year.<\/p>\n

Prices have risen from \u00a3291,467 last year to \u00a3323,153 this year – a rise of 10.9 percent.<\/p>\n
