She initially thought she had stage 2 moderate cancer, but in August, she learned that she had stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma \u2014 a type of breast cancer that starts in the milk ducts of the breast and spreads to nearby tissues.<\/p>\n
\u201cEssentially, I\u2019m looking at the whole deal: chemo, double mastectomy, radiation and, eventually, implants\u2026 As someone who\u2019s never had any major illness, it was a lot to digest,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
The mom of two shared that she\u2019s received a lot of support from her Hallmark colleagues amid her diagnosis.<\/p>\n
