Motorists are being advised to expect delays in south Belfast on Monday evening, as thousands of fans are set to travel to Windsor Park for Northern Ireland\u2019s UEFA World Cup Qualifier against Germany.<\/p>\n
With a strong turnout expected on Monday night, police and stadium officials are encouraging supporters to plan ahead, use public transport where possible, and follow steward and traffic management advice to help ensure the event runs smoothly.<\/p>\n
Kick-off is scheduled for 7.45pm with gates opening from 6.15pm.<\/p>\n
Police have warned that traffic congestion is likely before and after the match, particularly around the Donegall Avenue area, Tates Avenue, and Lisburn Road.<\/p>\n
A significant turnout of fans from Germany is also expected.<\/p>\n
Supporters attending the game are being urged to leave extra time for their journey and to park responsibly, showing consideration for local residents and businesses.<\/p>\n
A PSNI spokesperson said: \u201cA build-up of traffic will be expected in the area in the vicinity of the stadium both before and after the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlease be respectful and considerate whilst walking through residential streets convenient to the stadium.\u201d<\/p>\n
The area around Windsor Park is also covered by Belfast City Council\u2019s No Street Drinking by-laws, meaning fans could face fines if found consuming alcohol in public.<\/p>\n

The fixture marks a major test for Michael O\u2019Neill\u2019s side as they continue their World Cup qualifying campaign.
