Tottenham are rumoured to be interested in Antoine Semenyo, but Spurs fans will not like what the winger has previously said about his dream club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Several outlets have reported that Semenyo is on Tottenham\u2019s radar ahead of January<\/a>, which comes as an exciting update, given the form that the winger has been in this season.<\/p>\n

The Ghana international has already managed six goals and three assists in seven matches so far, and unsurprisingly, the Lilywhites<\/a> are not the only ones interested.<\/p>\n

According to some reports, Spurs will have to battle Man United and Liverpool for Semenyo<\/a> in the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n

Recently, The Independent\u2019s Miguel Delaney even claimed that Tottenham have moved to pole position in the race to land the Bournemouth star<\/a>, which is certainly exciting news for Spurs fans.<\/p>\n

However, Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> supporters will not like to hear what Semenyo<\/a> said about his dream destination a year ago, with the winger admitting that he grew up supporting Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Athletic<\/a> in October of 2024, the 25-year-old said: \u201cI am an Arsenal fan, I don\u2019t conflict the two with my job. It is great to play against Arsenal, a team I have watched all my life, and I want to play for the top clubs as well. In order for that to happen, I need to prove it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spurs may now have the financial muscle to land Semenyo<\/p>\n

According to various sources, Semenyo is valued by the Cherries at around \u00a375m-\u00a380m<\/a>, which would mean that Thomas Frank\u2019s men would have to shatter their transfer record to land the winger.<\/p>\n

However, the North Londoners may not have the financial muscle to land the Cherries star after ENIC injected \u00a3100m equity into Tottenham<\/a> earlier this week.<\/p>\n

In fact, many Spurs fans have already called on the club to spend most of that \u00a3100m on Semenyo<\/a> in the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n
