{"id":49477,"date":"2025-04-25T13:29:08","date_gmt":"2025-04-25T13:29:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/49477\/"},"modified":"2025-04-25T13:29:08","modified_gmt":"2025-04-25T13:29:08","slug":"europe-trails-in-global-pipeline-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/49477\/","title":{"rendered":"Europe trails in global pipeline report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"headline\">Germany leads Europe in total rooms in construction (26,117);<br \/>\nAsia Pacific pipeline +7.3%.<\/p>\n<p>GLOBAL REPORT \u2013 Europe is the only world region that showed a<br \/>\nyear-over-year decrease in overall pipeline activity at the end of the first<br \/>\nquarter, according to CoStar data.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a rundown of regional pipelines:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In construction: 173,961 rooms (+0.9%)<\/li>\n<li>Final Planning: 77,252 rooms (-22.6%)<\/li>\n<li>Planning: 176,295 rooms (+9.9%)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total Under Contract: 427,508 (-1.2%)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Germany leads Europe in total rooms in construction (26,117),<br \/>\nclosely followed by the United Kingdom (24,115).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Asia Pacific<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In construction: 533,937 rooms (+6.2%)<\/li>\n<li>Final Planning: 43,763 rooms (-60.2%)<\/li>\n<li>Planning: 389,767 rooms (+34.9%)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total Under Contract: 967,467 (+7.3%)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Among countries in the region, China (332,325) led in construction<br \/>\nactivity, followed by Vietnam (38,783) and India (38,228).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Middle East &amp; Africa<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In construction: 103,038 rooms (-7.0%)<\/li>\n<li>Final Planning: 28,215 rooms (-22.0%)<\/li>\n<li>Planning: 97,813 rooms (+20.3%)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total Under Contract: 229,066 (+0.4%)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most of the region\u2019s pipeline activity is focused in the Middle<br \/>\nEast. Saudi Arabia (42,800) and the United Arab Emirates (16,019) have the most<br \/>\nrooms in construction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Americas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In construction: 194,823 rooms (-5.4%)<\/li>\n<li>Final Planning: 306,396 rooms (+3.4%)<\/li>\n<li>Planning: 423,746 rooms (+11.9%)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total Under Contract: 924,965 (+5.0%)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The U.S. (144,760) holds the majority of rooms<br \/>\nin construction in the region.
