Kate Middleton is a well-known supporter of British designers<\/a>, often wearing locally-made outfits for official duties.<\/p>\n No matter what Kate sports – be it casual outfits for outdoor events, high-end couture for glitzy state occasions, or her favorite smart-casual ensembles – the future queen’s fashion picks<\/a> always draw significant attention. When the Princess of Wales<\/a> selects an affordable item from one of her favored high-street brands, the designs are known to fly off the shelves in no time.<\/p>\n However, an expert has suggested that a recent outfit she wore during a visit to two mills in Kent and Suffolk carried a “hidden message” to her estranged brother and sister-in-law, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The ‘Earl’ suit jacket is priced at $1,130, the ‘Schoolboy trousers’ at $700, and she completed the look with a black Boden sweater and gold hoop earrings by Daniella Draper, reportedly valued at $3,270.<\/p>\n Kate also included a sweet nod to her three kids, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, with a necklace: a gold Daniella Draper piece featuring their three initials, priced just under $670. Fashion expert Laura Craig told the Daily Mail that this particular outfit choice, which Kate wore during Prince Harry’s recent return to the UK, appeared to send a deliberate “message” to the Sussexes.<\/p>\n “Since nothing in Kate’s wardrobe is ever worn by accident, it’s hard not to question her design – and timing – in choosing to wear such a coded and patriotic fabric as the Prince of Wales check,” the expert claimed. “Smart as it is, it’s often avoided by those on public duties due to the fact that the checks don’t always photograph well, and can appear blurry. Clearly, this was of less concern than the message it conveyed.<\/p>\n “The message being: here stand the real bastions of the British royal family, in all their stalwart dedication to king and country.
