(Image: Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"dailyrecord\">The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/royal-family\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Princess RoyalLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Princess Royal<\/a> has become the royal patron of Glasgow Caledonian University as it nears the 150-year anniversary of one of its founding institutions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"dailyrecord\">Anne continues a tradition set by her mum, the late <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/royal-family\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Queen ElizabethLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Queen Elizabeth<\/a>, who was a patron of the Glasgow and West of Scotland College of Domestic Science &#8211;
